Centum General Hospital (Chairman Park Jongho, Hospital Director Park Namcheol) has recruited a total of six new medical staff, including specialists in gastroenterology, neurology, family medicine, and occupational and environmental medicine, to further strengthen its clinical expertise. These new staff members will officially begin providing medical services starting in March.
Chief Park Cheolwoo, who joined the gastroenterology department, is an expert with extensive clinical experience in endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early gastric and colon cancer, as well as for gastric and colon adenomas. He will focus on advanced procedures that involve precisely excising lesions such as early gastric cancer endoscopically, without open surgery, and is expected to offer tailored treatments across a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases.
Additionally, Chief Kim Yeonwoo specializes in therapeutic endoscopy (EMR, ESD) and in the treatment of esophageal, gastric, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and biliary diseases. Chief Kim Sungjin is responsible for managing a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders and performing upper and lower endoscopies, thereby enhancing the gastroenterology center's medical capabilities.
In the neurology department, Chief Bae Hyojin will provide care for cerebral infarction, headaches, dizziness, movement disorders, and peripheral nerve disorders. Chief Hwang Eunju in the family medicine department will oversee adult disease management, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and vaccination clinics. In the occupational and environmental medicine department, Chief Jeong Saemi plans to offer customized healthcare services for workers, including occupational disease diagnosis, worker health checkups, and job stress management.
Chairman Park Jongho stated, "We expect that the recruitment of highly qualified medical professionals with rich clinical experience and expertise will elevate our level of care to the next stage," adding, "We will do our utmost to provide optimized, patient-centered medical services and become a hospital that is even more trusted by the local community."
