President Oh Hwakyeong:
"Honoring Soldiers' Dedication,
Becoming a Financial Safety Net for Citizens"
The Korea Federation of Savings Banks announced on December 3 that, in celebration of the year-end, it visited the 3rd Corps in Inje County, Gangwon Province to deliver words of encouragement to soldiers and donated 10 million won in consolation funds.

President Oh Hwakyeong and Kim Dongsu, Deputy Commander of the Republic of Korea Army 3rd Corps, attended the event.
President Oh stated, "The savings bank industry deeply appreciates the dedication of the soldiers and will strive to be a financial safety net supporting the lives of ordinary citizens and local communities."
The federation and the savings bank industry are making efforts to support local communities, including donations for wildfire victims and sponsorship funds for vulnerable groups. They also fulfill their social role by providing support for living and infrastructure facilities in traditional markets nationwide, thereby assisting local communities and those in need.
