The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) will hold the "2025 Pre-Employment Briefing Session for Participating Companies in the Vocational Education Innovation District" on December 3 at the Gyeongbuk Mechanical and Metal High School's Gaeseong Art Hall in Gyeongsan. A total of 507 people, including 465 students from vocational high schools in the Gyeongbuk region and employment support teachers, are expected to attend.
The Vocational Education Innovation District project aims to systematically nurture local technical talent by strengthening the connection between local industries and vocational high schools. It also seeks to increase the employment rate of high school graduates and the local settlement rate through the operation of a pre-selection system linked to recruitment.
Major companies in the local manufacturing, electrical, and electronics sectors-including Samkwang, Sewon Mulsan, Jahwa Electronics, Ajou Steel, and PNT-will participate in this briefing session to provide information on their 2026 recruitment plans and job roles.
Company representatives will share the skills and preparation directions required in the industry, and offer practical career planning advice to students through Q&A sessions.
Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, stated, "I hope this briefing session will expand early employment opportunities for students and create a virtuous cycle in which companies can secure outstanding local talent. We will continue to provide administrative and financial support to help young people settle in the region through close cooperation between local industries and vocational high schools."
