Seven Stores to Participate
"Expecting a Boost for Local Businesses"
Iksan City in North Jeolla Province will host a 'Year-End and New Year Discount' and 'Stamp Tour' event at Jungang-dong Chicken Road starting December 1.
According to the city on the 28th, the event aims to boost year-end consumer sentiment and increase citizen participation, with all seven Chicken Road stores taking part.
The participating Chicken Road stores are: No. 1 'Yeonpoomdak', No. 2 'BBQ Munhwa Branch', No. 3 'Samnam Theater', No. 4 'Kkotpiudak', No. 5 'bhc Iksan Station Branch', No. 6 'Giyeongi Charcoal Two Chicken Jungang Branch', and Harim Sales Store Fresh Market.
The year-end and New Year discount allows customers to enjoy both the 'Dairooum' Iksan local gift certificate benefits and individual store discounts at the same time. For purchases made with Dairooum at Chicken Road stores in December, customers can receive up to 28% in benefits, including the existing 13% incentive, a 10% policy support bonus, and a 5% rebate.
Each store also offers its own variety of discounts. Yeonpoomdak is running a '3 bottles of beer for 10,000 won' event in December and provides a 5% discount for dine-in and a 10% discount for takeout.
BBQ Munhwa Branch, bhc Iksan Station Branch, and Giyeongi Charcoal Two Chicken Jungang Branch offer a 10% discount on chicken menu items for dine-in customers and a 2,000 won discount for takeout orders. Samnam Theater, where customers can enjoy performances and music, offers a 10% discount on chicken menu items for dine-in as well.
Harim Sales Store Fresh Market is offering a special 10% discount mainly on products popular with children, while Kkotpiudak is providing a 10% discount on the entire menu, from meals to beverages.
The Stamp Tour event will run from December 1 until the souvenirs run out. Customers who spend at least 20,000 won at each of the seven stores will receive a stamp, and those who collect stamps from all participating stores can receive an 'Miji' Iksan tourism mascot 'Maryong' doll at Jungang-dong.
The city plans to make it easy for citizens to participate by producing stamp cards featuring store locations, signature dishes, and business hours, which will be available at each store.
A city official said, "We hope this event will revitalize the Jungang-dong Culture and Arts Street and Chicken Road, and have a positive impact throughout the old downtown area. We will continue to develop consumer promotion policies that citizens can truly feel, in cooperation with local small business owners."
