Yangpyeong County (Governor Jeon Jinseon) announced on the 27th that it conducted a "Visiting Jeonse Fraud Prevention Education" for about 150 third-year high school students preparing to enter society at the Yangpyeong High School auditorium on the 26th.

Yangpyeong County organized this educational program in response to the recent surge in jeonse fraud cases, especially among people in their 20s and 30s. The county considered the fact that students preparing for independence after entering university are particularly vulnerable to such risks.
This education program was hosted by Yangpyeong County and organized by the Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Center, with Kim Jongtae, Section Chief at Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation, serving as the instructor. The lecture included quizzes tailored to the students' level and focused on understanding the jeonse system, current methods of jeonse fraud, and key risk factors and prevention strategies to be aware of before and after signing contracts.
Governor Jeon Jinseon of Yangpyeong County stated, "I hope that through this education, students taking their first steps into society can prevent jeonse fraud and respond appropriately in the event of damage." He added, "We will continue to expand preventive education and counseling for young people, such as university students and those new to the workforce, who are relatively vulnerable to jeonse fraud risks."
