BuySellStandard, which operates the tokenized securities-based digital asset management platform 'PIECE,' announced on the 27th that it has been selected as one of the Financial Services Commission's outstanding fintech companies, 'K-Fintech 30.'
'K-Fintech 30' is the government's flagship fintech development program, launched by the Financial Services Commission to vitalize the fintech industry and promote financial innovation. Each year, 10 outstanding companies are selected for three years starting in 2023, for a total of 30 companies, and are provided with support for growth. With the selection of the final 10 companies this year, the three-year selection process has concluded.
With this selection, BuySellStandard will receive customized and focused support, including various policy-linked financial assistance such as preferential policy finance limits and interest rates, as well as expanded opportunities for investment attraction and IR, specialized fintech consulting, and support for overseas market entry.
BuySellStandard is the only company among the seven fractional investment firms that received business restructuring approval from the Securities and Futures Commission of the Financial Services Commission to adopt a multi-asset strategy. Through its tokenized securities-based digital asset management platform 'PIECE,' it provides a service that enables investment in a variety of tangible assets with scarcity value, such as physical goods, artworks, ships, and intellectual property (IP), all in one place. The company has been recognized for overcoming the limitations of the existing fractional investment market based on its independently developed blockchain infrastructure and technological capabilities.
It received high marks for its industry-first, self-developed blockchain mainnet-based secure asset management system; infrastructure stability and reliability that meet institutional financial standards; and the ability to commercialize new assets within four to six weeks. Its global strategy through its Singapore-based subsidiary BSFX, as well as its industrial leadership as the inaugural chair company of the Token Securities Council under the Korea Fintech Industry Association, have also been recognized. Previously, BuySellStandard won the 'Best DeFi Innovation Award' at the Global Retail Banking Awards hosted by The Asian Banker.
Shin Beomjun, CEO of BuySellStandard, said, "With this selection, the technological completeness and global expansion potential of our multi-asset tokenized securities platform have been recognized. We will further advance the platform to ensure investors can stably access a wide range of tangible assets, and, based on our Singapore subsidiary BSFX, provide competitive investment opportunities in the global market as well."
