Strengthening Regional Youth Employment Governance
Enhancing Practitioners' Capabilities
The Daejin University Career Plus Center, led by President Jang Seokhwan, held the "Gyeonggi Northern Universities and Related Institutions Employment Support Practitioners Performance Sharing Meeting" on the 14th at the Pocheon City Complex Cultural Space, with support from the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

This event was organized with the goal of "providing employment support services based on regional youth employment governance." It aimed to strengthen the cooperative system among universities and youth support organizations in the northern Gyeonggi region and to share best practices and effective employment support strategies.
Approximately 30 participants attended the performance sharing meeting, including representatives from the Uijeongbu Employment Center, Pocheon City Job Center, Yangju City Youth Center, and employment support staff from universities in the northern Gyeonggi area, creating a meaningful networking opportunity.
The meeting featured several sessions: a presentation on the best practices of the Daejin University Career Plus Center (including the Career Plus Center and graduate-specialized programs, as well as customized employment services for current students); a briefing session by the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Uijeongbu Employment Center on "Youth Policy and Ministry of Employment and Labor Project Directions for 2026"; and case study presentations from other universities and related institutions. In the afternoon, a "Gardening Healing Class" provided participants with time for exchange and rejuvenation, fostering active practitioner-centered networking.
Through this event, each institution worked to strengthen their youth employment support capabilities and sought to establish a direction for building a sustainable cooperative governance structure within the local community.
Jang Inho, Director of the Daejin University Career Plus Center, stated, "This performance sharing meeting, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is an important opportunity for local universities and youth organizations to cooperate and create a new model for youth employment. We will continue to do our best to enhance the practical employment capabilities of young people and contribute to the local employment ecosystem."
