Daejin University (President Jang Seokhwan) invited Bakuramutsa Ncubeito, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Korea, on November 13 to discuss ways to enhance educational and academic cooperation between the two countries.
This visit was aimed at expanding exchanges between Daejin University and Rwandan educational institutions and promoting the recruitment of international students. Both sides discussed practical measures to ensure that Rwandan students can receive high-quality education at Daejin University. They also explored future possibilities for cooperation in various fields, including cultural exchanges and the operation of joint academic programs to nurture global talent.
Daejin University stated its commitment to internationalization, saying, "We plan to actively support Rwandan students in all aspects of education and daily life so that they can focus on their studies in a stable environment."
In response, Ambassador Ncubeito expressed deep gratitude for Daejin University's international educational environment and the opportunities provided to African students, and conveyed his expectations for building a practical cooperative relationship in the future.
This exchange is expected to lay the foundation for a long-term partnership between the two institutions and contribute to strengthening cooperation in education and culture between Korea and Rwanda.
