EMRO, the leading domestic artificial intelligence (AI)-based supply chain management software company, announced on November 14 that its cumulative sales for the third quarter of this year reached 64 billion won on a consolidated financial statement basis. This marks a 12.2% increase compared to the same period last year, setting a new record high. Over the same period, operating profit and net profit reached 1.43 billion won and 2.21 billion won, respectively.
Software license sales and cloud service usage fees increased by 4.4% and 6.6%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. The annual technology fees generated from client companies that have adopted EMRO’s solutions rose by 30.6% year-on-year, reaching 12.19 billion won.
Several factors contributed to this growth, including the signing of an operations and maintenance contract for a next-generation procurement system with the largest IT company in Korea, as well as the spread of global supply chain crises stemming from U.S. tariff policies. The “lock-in effect” among existing customers, driven by the acceleration of AI-centric digital transformation, was also cited as a factor in improved performance. Projects to advance digital-based procurement systems or expand them to subsidiaries and overseas branches are steadily increasing, especially among existing clients. Demand for innovation in corporate procurement operations is also rapidly growing, as companies adopt the latest AI technologies such as Agentic AI.
To respond to market changes, EMRO is introducing a variety of AI agents within its procurement systems and expanding use cases for Agentic AI in the procurement sector. Recently, EMRO secured a major domestic defense company as a new client and is pursuing a project to innovate not only procurement but also sales, quality management, and business management across the entire enterprise work process using EMRO’s AI solutions, thereby demonstrating the scalability of its proprietary AI technology.
Demand for AI-based supply chain management solutions is also rapidly expanding overseas. Earlier this year, a leading global PC and server manufacturer signed a contract to adopt EMRO’s “AI-based Bill of Materials (BOM) automatic comparison and analysis solution” and is currently considering the additional adoption of Agentic AI features.
Across North America and Europe, EMRO is actively conducting demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with companies from various industries, focusing on the design-to-source module of its global SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia.
Given the rapid growth rate of the global SRM solution market compared to other enterprise software and the spreading trend of work automation through Agentic AI, EMRO expects to maintain stable growth over the mid- to long-term. The company plans to strengthen its foundation for sustainable future growth with “global” and “AI” as its core pillars, aiming for both quantitative expansion and qualitative improvement.
An EMRO representative stated, “We have confirmed strong interest and demand for AI-based supply chain management solutions from local companies in North America and Europe, and we are significantly expanding our pipeline across various sectors, including high-tech, automotive, industrial goods, life sciences, and consumer goods.” The representative added, “Going forward, we will enhance both corporate value and profitability by expanding orders in the global market, advancing our Agentic AI solutions, and transitioning our portfolio to SaaS-based offerings.”
