Fire Safety Equipment Worth 20 Million Won Donated
Yeongpung announced on the 14th that its Seokpo Smelter has delivered residential fire safety equipment worth 20 million won to support fire prevention for vulnerable groups in Bonghwa County, Gyeongsangbuk-do during the winter season.

The donation ceremony held the previous day at Bonghwa Fire Station was attended by key officials, including Kim Insik, Chief of Bonghwa Fire Station, and Choi Kyubeom, Head of Yeongpung Management Headquarters.
Yeongpung Seokpo Smelter delivered the donation to the Memorial Association for Fallen Firefighters, a non-profit organization. The association used the funds to purchase and provide fire safety equipment and supplies to households in vulnerable groups within Bonghwa County to help prevent winter fires.
A representative from Yeongpung stated, "We hope this will provide practical assistance where it is most needed in the local community," and added, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate responsibility to create a safer local environment."
Yeongpung has continued a variety of community engagement activities focused on Seokpo-myeon and Bonghwa County, including coal briquette sharing, monetary donations, and providing winter clothing for local students. Recently, the company has also actively participated in the 'Bonghwa Love Address Campaign' to help address the issue of population decline in Bonghwa County.
