Neotis announced on the 13th that it recorded a cumulative consolidated operating profit of 5.6 billion won for the third quarter of this year. Operating profit for the third quarter alone was 2.6 billion won, marking a turnaround into the black compared to the same period last year.
Cumulative sales reached 51 billion won, up 23.8% from the same period last year. For the third quarter, sales were 18 billion won, representing a 39.5% increase. Net profit for the third quarter was 2.8 billion won, also turning to a profit from a loss in the same period last year.
The strong performance of Neotis is attributed to the boom in the semiconductor market, which is an upstream industry. Recently, as the markets for artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator servers and high-performance computing have expanded, Neotis’ clients in the printed circuit board (PCB) sector have seen a surge in orders. This is believed to have positively impacted Neotis as well.
A Neotis representative stated, “As orders from PCB companies increase, our Microbit division is also enjoying a boom, and the automotive motor shaft division is on an upward trend. Given the outlook for upstream industries, we expect our performance to continue rising next year.”
