Strengthening Cooperation in Biohealth, Semiconductors, Secondary Batteries, and Materials and Components
Dong-Eui University and Pusan National University are breaking down the boundaries of advanced industrial disciplines and have set the stage for regional innovation by nurturing 'future-oriented talents'.
Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) and Pusan National University (President Choi Jaewon) have joined forces to cultivate future-oriented professionals in the fields of biohealth, semiconductors, secondary batteries, and materials and components.
The Biohealth Innovation Convergence College Project Group at Dong-Eui University (Director Jeong Kyungtae), the Advanced Industry Talent Training Bootcamp Semiconductor Project Group (Director Lee Wonjae), and the Convergence Parts and Materials Core Research Support Center (Director Lee Wonjae) signed a work agreement with the Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence College Project Group at Pusan National University (Director Cho Chaeyong) on November 11 in the conference room on the second floor of Dong-Eui University's main building. The agreement aims to foster convergent talents and promote academic development.

This agreement was established to strengthen cooperation between regional universities and enhance the competitiveness of local industries amid the rapidly changing advanced industrial environment.
Through the agreement, the two universities will mutually cooperate in the fields of biohealth, semiconductors, secondary batteries, and materials and components by jointly developing and operating convergent curricula, promoting exchanges in student activities, academic events, and joint research, and sharing facilities and equipment.
Jeong Kyungtae, Director of the Biohealth Innovation Convergence College Project Group at Dong-Eui University, said, "By combining the educational and research capabilities of regional universities, we expect to create synergy in nurturing convergent talents who will lead future advanced industries. Through ongoing cooperation, we will enhance the quality of education and research and contribute to the development of local industries by revitalizing industry-academia-research collaboration."
