This donation initiative was voluntarily carried out to practice warm sharing throughout the local community, resulting in various forms of generosity.

First, the Nanum Employment Welfare Foundation (Guri-Namyangju Branch, led by Lee Minkyu), a legal entity dedicated to promoting labor and welfare development in Korean society based on the spirit of love and peace, donated 20 walkers and 50 adult rollators to help improve mobility for elderly individuals in vulnerable groups.

Branch Director Lee Minkyu stated, "Our focus goes beyond simply providing goods; we aim to foster a warm community where neighbors live together," adding, "We hope this will offer practical help to seniors who have difficulty going out."

In addition, 31 citizens who participated in the ‘Rice Farming Experience Field Utilizing Out-of-District Farmland’ donated 1,420 kilograms of freshly harvested rice that they grew and harvested themselves over the past year. This initiative is part of the ‘Rice Farming Experience Field Operation’ project, designed to help citizens learn the value of agriculture and share its rewards with the local community.

The participating citizens commented, "Every grain of rice we cultivated by hand is filled with care," and "It was even more rewarding to share the joy of the harvest with neighbors in need."

Furthermore, the Guri City Resource Circulation Interpreters’ Association (President Yoo Jongho), a group actively promoting resource circulation culture and guiding residents on waste separation in apartment complexes, donated 110 boxes (each containing 30 packs) of instant noodles to support vulnerable groups during the winter season.

President Yoo Jongho said, "I believe that sharing with neighbors is just as important as protecting the environment," and added, "Although it is a small gesture, I hope our neighbors can enjoy a warm meal and feel comforted."

Guri City Mayor Baek Kyunghyeon stated, "The warm sharing of our citizens is spreading warmth throughout the community," and added, "The city will do its utmost to continue supporting welfare so that this positive influence can keep expanding."
