SK Ecoplant has secured the contract for the Gwangmyeong 13-1 and 13-2 District Integrated Redevelopment Project in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province.


According to SK Ecoplant on November 9, the project will be carried out at 43-4 Gwangmyeong-dong, Gwangmyeong City, and involves the construction of apartments and ancillary welfare facilities across nine buildings, ranging from three basement levels to 43 above-ground floors, totaling 824 units. The total contract value is 303 billion KRW.


The area is located within a ten-minute walk from Gwangmyeongsageori Station on Seoul Subway Line 7, making it a prime location near a subway station. The Seobu Expressway is also nearby, providing convenient access to Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon.


The surrounding area offers excellent educational conditions, with schools such as Gwangmyeongnam Elementary School, Gwangmyeong Middle School, Gyeonggi Aviation High School, and Myeongmun High School. There are also convenient facilities such as Emart and Gwangmyeong Traditional Market.


Other maintenance and development projects, such as Gwangmyeong 7, 9, 11, and 12R, are also underway nearby, and the development of Anyangcheon is planned, which is expected to further improve the residential environment and increase housing value.
