2025 Small Business Win-Win Collaboration Education
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on November 9 that it is recruiting small business owners to participate in the "2025 Small Business Win-Win Collaboration Education (AI Utilization Education for Small Business Owners)." This program is designed to help small business owners understand and practice artificial intelligence (AI) technologies applicable to their businesses, and will be operated in collaboration with private AI companies.
Leading domestic AI companies such as Naver, Wrtn Technologies, and Kakao will participate as educational institutions. Both in-person and online training will be provided according to curricula planned by each institution. In-person courses will be offered in seven regions: Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, Daejeon, Daegu, Busan, and Jeju. Applicants can choose courses based on the content, location, and schedule offered by each institution. However, to maximize participation, each small business owner is allowed to enroll in only one course from one institution.
Small business owners who are unable to attend in-person classes can watch live training videos through the YouTube channel (Gongsajang TV). In addition, AI education content will be available through the "Small Business Knowledge Learning Center," an online education platform dedicated to small business owners.
Naver plans to offer four in-person training sessions at Naver Square in Seoul, Busan, and Gwangju. Naver’s team of expert instructors will provide AI education tailored to small business owners in the beauty, shopping, and food service sectors, utilizing Clova X.
Wrtn Technologies is preparing AI training in Seoul and Daegu for small business owners across all industries. The curriculum will cover understanding and practical usage of high-utility AI services such as Wrtn, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. Wrtn’s expert instructors, who have extensive experience providing AI education to corporations, universities, and public institutions, will lead the sessions.
Kakao is preparing AI training for small business owners in tourism, food service, service, and manufacturing sectors in Jeju, Gyeonggi, Seoul, and Daejeon. The courses will utilize ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Kanana, and AI education experts from the "KakaoTech AI-School Owner Class" will participate as offline instructors.
Lee Daegun, Director of Small Business Policy, stated, "As AI technology spreads rapidly, it is necessary for small business owners to enhance their AI utilization skills," and added, "We will continue to expand AI education programs for small business owners through partnerships with various leading private AI companies in the future."
Detailed information on how to apply for the program will be available from November 10 on the official website of the Small Enterprise and Market Service or through Small Business 24. Each of the three educational institutions will post separate announcements, and the application and registration periods will differ by institution. After reviewing the details of each announcement, applications can be submitted through Small Business 24.
