Geochang County to Hold 'Mutual Prosperity Cultural Street Alley Festival'

Geochang County in South Gyeongsang Province will hold the 'Mutual Prosperity Cultural Street Alley Festival - Bonjeongtong' on October 31 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Cultural Street area to revitalize the local commercial district.

This festival is organized by Geochang YMCA, in cooperation with the Cultural Street Merchants Association and the Geochang County Volunteer Center, and will be a local mutual prosperity street festival where merchants and residents can come together.

At the event, there will be product sales and promotions by the Cultural Street Merchants Association, hands-on experiences such as a knife sharpening service by the Geochang Senior Club, a variety of food options, a rhythm spoon performance, and other street performances to enrich the deepening autumn night.

On the day of the event, vehicle traffic will be completely restricted in part of the Cultural Street area (from Samyuk Supermarket to Market Discount Mart) to ensure smooth proceedings and pedestrian safety.

Oh Myung-yi, Head of the Economic and Corporate Affairs Division, stated, "Through this festival, we aim to promote Cultural Street to county residents and further revitalize the local commercial district. We hope many residents will participate and enjoy a variety of experiences and performances together."
