Professional Delivery and Safety Training Brought to Four Cities
Woowa Brothers, which is responsible for the logistics services of Baemin, announced on the 22nd that it has held the "Baemin Rider School on the Go" for riders active in regions such as Jeonju, Daejeon, Busan, and Daegu.
Now in its fourth year, the "Baemin Rider School on the Go" is an outreach program that brings the educational infrastructure of the Baemin Rider School in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province directly to riders in regions where it is difficult to visit the main facility. The program delivers the same training experience to local riders at their own locations.
This program, tailored to the unique characteristics of each region, has strengthened its expertise through collaboration with the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, the Korea Road Traffic Authority, and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS). Starting in Jeonju and Daejeon in September, and continuing in Busan and Daegu in October, the program has attracted around 200 riders and received a positive response.
At the Baemin Rider School on the Go, a team of professional instructors with over 20 years of experience in motorcycle safety education delivers lectures on ▲safe delivery know-how for motorcycles ▲hands-on motorcycle training ▲accident case analysis ▲how to save on insurance premiums and calculate fault ratios ▲motorcycle tuning regulations. In particular, for this session, a technology that converts voice to text was implemented to accommodate hearing-impaired riders, creating a customized educational environment.
As the only motorcycle training facility in Korea, Baemin Rider School has been operated by Woowa Brothers since 2018 to promote safe riding and the healthy development of delivery services. Since its opening, the total number of riders who have completed the training has exceeded 22,000 as of October. Woowa Brothers plans to open the Hanam Baemin Rider School in the second half of this year, with an investment of 27 billion KRW, to provide motorcycle safety education to around 10,000 riders annually.
A representative from Woowa Brothers said, "Since 2022, the Baemin Rider School on the Go has become a regular event that not only provides motorcycle safety lectures but also facilitates communication with local riders, thanks to its high satisfaction rate. We plan to further expand rider engagement programs, including the Baemin Rider School on the Go, nationwide to help create a safer delivery environment."
