New Approach Receives Positive Reviews
Lotte Construction announced on the 22nd that it received the Forest Service Director’s Award in the private sector at the "2025 Korea Landscape Awards" for its own landscaping brand, "Green by Groove (GREEN X GROOVE)."
The "Korea Landscape Awards" is the most prestigious honor in the field of landscaping, co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Environmental Landscape Development Foundation, and supported by the Ministry of Environment, the Korea Forest Service, and others. The "Green by Groove" garden by Lotte Construction was praised not only for its high level of design and quality, but also for demonstrating the new potential that landscaping and gardens can themselves become brands. The brand’s philosophy was embodied in the form of the garden, and its urban climate response, nature-friendly design, and various content allowing residents to directly experience the garden were highly evaluated.
"Green by Groove" is a landscaping brand introduced by Lotte Construction in 2022. "Green" represents nature, while "Groove" signifies rhythm and vitality. As the name suggests, it aims to add everyday energy to spaces of rest and healing in nature. With the concept of "Inspiring Around (spaces that inspire life)," the brand seeks to create landscaping that reflects the individual preferences of each resident.
Lotte Construction first applied the "Green by Groove" garden to "Cheonan Lotte Castle The Cheongdang" in July. Under the theme "Communication in Fine Nature," the garden recreates the scenery of a valley forest and sunlit courtyards. The central water feature expresses natural elements such as light, water, and rocks through curved and three-dimensional designs, adding depth to the garden.
A Lotte Construction representative said, "It is very meaningful that the 'Green by Groove' garden, applied for the first time, has received this award," adding, "We will continue to create high-quality gardens that embody our brand philosophy and offer apartment residents a new lifestyle."
