Kyobo Securities announced on October 17 that its eco-friendly campaign, the "Green Race MoaMoa Challenge," has achieved its goal of 10 million points.
This challenge, which was part of the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management initiatives, ran for four months starting in June. Employees participated in a total of 3,291 daily carbon reduction activities.
This year, in order to broaden participation, the campaign was operated through two programs: "Moa I" and "Moa II." "Moa I" allowed employees to earn points by completing 25 activities, such as purchasing low-carbon products and using public transportation, through the company intranet. "Moa II" was conducted by certifying eco-friendly activities using the Seoul Volunteer Center's "Moa Platform."
The accumulated points will be converted into a donation of 10 million won, which will be delivered to the Environmental Foundation and used for the Bee Forest Creation Project.
A Kyobo Securities representative stated, "We hope that the small actions of each and every employee will come together to create greater change," adding, "We will continue to expand eco-friendly activities in daily life going forward."
Meanwhile, Kyobo Securities plans to continue various eco-friendly activities through the end of the year, including protecting the Yeouido Park ecosystem, plogging, and resource recycling programs.
