Earn Points Through Attendance Checks and Mini-Games
Naver Pay announced on October 17 that it will launch the "New Paypet Raising" service.
Paypet is a character-raising service based on point accumulation.
Until now, users could raise characters such as Moa the puppy, Boni the cat, and Rich the hamster by participating in point-earning activities like drawing points after making a Naver Pay payment, confirming purchases, and writing reviews.
The new version adds a variety of missions that enhance the joy of raising pets, in addition to the existing point-earning activities.
By participating in various activities and missions, users can collect a newly introduced reward item called "Pet Cookie." These Pet Cookies can be used for activities such as playing, petting, and feeding, and can be exchanged for random points.
Pet Cookies can be collected through attendance checks, growth missions, and mini-games. When a character levels up according to the amount of points accumulated, users receive Pet Cookies at random.
Lee Ouram, Head of User Experience Design at Naver Pay, said, "In the new version, we've introduced various elements so users can enjoy raising their own Paypet while experiencing point benefits," adding, "In next year's season, we plan to introduce new characters and add more fun features."
