On the 27th, Statistics Korea announced, "The websites for Statistics Korea, the Korea Statistical Information Service (KOSIS), Microdata (mdss), and Statistical Geographic Information (sgis) are all currently unavailable."
Statistics Korea is scheduled to release the 'August Industrial Activity Trends' on the 30th and the 'September Consumer Price Trends' on October 2. While the agency maintains that, as of now, it can proceed with the related statistical releases according to the original schedule, it is possible that public online services may not operate normally.
As of this morning, access is also unavailable to the Ministry of Economy and Finance's 'Open Fiscal Data' portal, which provides fiscal information, as well as the Public Procurement Service's 'KONEPS,' the national integrated electronic procurement system.
