Departed for Thailand on September 21
Discusses supply strategies with local distribution companies

Paek Jongmin, CEO of The Born Korea, is visiting Thailand, Taiwan, China, and the United States to personally promote the company's global B2B (business-to-business) sauce products.

According to industry sources on September 23, CEO Paek departed for Thailand from Incheon International Airport on September 21. Upon arriving in Bangkok, Thailand, he met with Jidubang, a local Korean food distribution company, the previous day to discuss distribution and supply strategies for B2B sauces and other products.

At the meeting, CEO Paek stated, "B2B sauces are The Born Korea's unique weapon for leading the globalization of Korean cuisine by making Korean flavors easy to replicate anywhere in the world," adding, "I am confident that these products will serve as ingredients to help people easily and simply introduce the taste of Korean food wherever it is needed."

He further explained, "Our products allow people to easily prepare Korean dishes using these sauces and local ingredients, helping to maintain authentic Korean flavors locally. If necessary, we also provide food consulting services."

CEO Paek is scheduled to meet with a major global distribution company in Thailand to discuss launching Korean menus based on B2B sauces. The Born Korea plans to introduce Korean dishes in the food courts of supermarkets operated by this distribution giant through a 'global food consulting' approach.

Previously, in July, The Born Korea collaborated with Globus, a major distribution group in Germany, to launch bibimbap and rice bowl menus at the food court of Markthalle hypermarket in Sankt Wendel, also using the global food consulting model.

Additionally, CEO Paek will visit Taiwan to meet with Shindongyang Group, the country's largest rest area operator, to hold a presentation on The Born Korea's RMR (restaurant meal replacement) products and propose supplying B2B sauces to the food courts in their rest areas.

Starting early next month, CEO Paek will hold B2B sauce presentations for distribution companies and restaurants across China and the United States.
