Arrested for Attempting to Kill Husband
by Cutting a Vital Part of His Body
Due to Suspected Infidelity
A woman in her 50s was arrested by police after attempting to kill her husband with a weapon, allegedly due to suspicions of infidelity.
On August 1, the Ganghwa Police Station in Incheon announced that they had arrested and were investigating a 57-year-old woman, identified as A, on charges of attempted murder for trying to kill her husband with a weapon.
A is accused of attempting to kill her husband, B, who is also in his 50s, by cutting a vital part of his body with a weapon at a cafe in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, around 1:00 a.m. on the same day.
B was transported to a hospital by emergency responders who arrived after receiving a report. Fortunately, it was reported that his life is not in danger.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated that she committed the act because she suspected her husband of infidelity.
The police plan to continue their investigation of A and will consider whether to request an arrest warrant.
