During the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on major local education issues and ways to improve policy effectiveness, including the establishment of new schools and appropriate student placement in Okjeong and Hoecheon districts, promotion of school facility openings to the public, improvement of school bus operations, and the hosting of career and college fairs.
Mayor Yang Suhyun stated, "The Yangju Education Support Center is the core pillar of local education," and added, "Let us create educational innovation together, based on communication and cooperation."
Mayor Yang further emphasized, "Education is the key to a sustainable city, and I will ensure that no one leaves Yangju because of educational concerns," underscoring his commitment to building an 'education city ideal for raising children.'
Yangju City plans to use this meeting as an opportunity to solidify its cooperative system with the Education Support Center and to continuously strengthen field-oriented educational administration through initiatives such as meetings with school principals, on-site meetings with parents, expanded collaboration with relevant agencies, and the revitalization of education-related events.
