On December 29, a woman in her 40s, identified as Ms. A and the mother of two children, appeared on JTBC's "Incident Commander" and claimed that her husband had an inappropriate relationship with the famous trot singer, Ms. B. According to Ms. A, her husband abruptly canceled a family trip earlier this year, began staying out overnight frequently, and left home in February. She explained that she began to suspect an affair after discovering birthday plans and other details about Ms. B on her husband's phone.
The Affair Partner Is a Famous Female Singer from a Trot Competition
Ms. B, whom Ms. A identified as the affair partner, gained recognition in 2019 by making it into the TOP10 on a trot competition program aired by a general programming channel. After a long period of obscurity, she has been actively working in the industry until recently and is currently appearing in another trot competition on a general programming channel.

Ms. A's husband even accompanied Ms. B to her events. Finding it hard to believe they were just friends, Ms. A contacted Ms. B directly in March. In response, Ms. B insisted to Ms. A that she and the husband were "just friends" and warned, "If you continue to contact me this way, I will file a complaint through my agency."

Later, Ms. A stated that, through her legal representative, she learned that her husband and Ms. B were living together. She claimed that the apartment's CCTV footage contained multiple scenes showing the two hugging and kissing, appearing to be in a romantic relationship.

Ms. A sent a message saying, "Please return my husband so I can protect my family," but Ms. B reportedly replied, "Why are you asking me for someone who isn't even mine? Please stop contacting me." Ms. A sent another message to Ms. B but received no reply. She said that after sending a certified letter in September, she finally received a response.

In the released recording from that time, Ms. B stated, "I have nothing to say, but I am also a victim." She said, "I was told the divorce was almost finalized, and he even said we would get married, so I introduced him to my parents. I am a celebrity with a lot to lose, and I endured years of obscurity to get here. If I had known the real situation, I would not have acted that way."
Ms. B also told "Incident Commander" that she started the relationship believing the other party's marriage had already broken down. She claimed, "(The man) assured me he had already agreed to a divorce with his wife and that the division of assets and alimony had been settled. He even introduced me to his parents as someone he would marry once the legal procedures were complete."

Ms. B said, "I have no intention of avoiding legal action," adding, "I will strive for forgiveness while also seeking to reveal the truth. I plan to appoint a lawyer soon and submit a civil lawsuit response, which will result in the scheduled sentencing date being canceled and the trial resuming." She further stated, "I intend to pursue legal action, including a claim for indemnity, against the man who deceived me and caused this incident, in order to hold him clearly accountable."
