Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province has launched a platform to share the achievements and related data of the 'Singal Five-way Intersection Urban Regeneration Project,' one of its representative urban regeneration initiatives, with local residents.

On June 12, Yongin City announced that the official service of the 'Singal Five-way Intersection Urban Regeneration Platform' website would begin on this day.


The 'Singal Five-way Intersection Urban Regeneration Platform' not only introduces the main achievements of the project but also shares real-time data that residents can experience through the 'Singal in Data' section, making it easier for residents to understand the urban regeneration project.


The website features related publications and photo and video materials, allowing users to easily view the project's achievements at a glance. In particular, smart urban regeneration data collected from equipment installed at Singal Five-way Intersection?including the Circular Resource Collection Robot, Smart Transportation Shelter, Solar Energy, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Parking Guidance, AI Singal Walking Assistant 'Georeoyong', and Smart Power?have been visualized and disclosed in an easily understandable format for residents.


The website can be easily accessed by searching for 'Singal Urban Regeneration Platform' on portal sites. The city provides the website in a format optimized for various devices, including PC, mobile, and tablet PC.


Based on this platform, the city plans to expand smart services and seek ways to link with the urban regeneration project in Jungang-dong, Cheoin-gu, in order to strengthen smart city functions.


A city official stated, "The establishment of this platform will serve as an important opportunity to enhance citizens' understanding and participation in urban regeneration," adding, "We will continue to expand smart city functions that citizens can experience firsthand."
