Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority Paints Cadastral Reference Points Yellow

Improving the Visibility of Land Boundary and Location Facilities

The Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority announced on June 12 that it has completed the marking and painting of 135 cadastral reference points (control points) within the Bitgreen National Industrial Complex.

Since April of this year, the Authority has been conducting a survey of the current status of cadastral reference points and, in parallel, has carried out the painting work. Cadastral reference points serve as the basis for cadastral surveying and are important facilities for determining land boundaries and locations.

To make it easier to locate these reference points during cadastral surveying, the Authority painted them yellow for enhanced visibility and visual effect.

Additionally, the painted markers display the logo and name of the Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority, both to promote the Authority to citizens and to naturally raise awareness of the importance of and need to protect cadastral reference points.

Commissioner Sun Seokgi stated, "Although cadastral reference points are crucial facilities closely related to land property rights, they may be unfamiliar to many citizens. Through this painting and marking project, we will continue our efforts to help citizens understand the importance of these reference points and recognize the need to preserve them."
