Guro District Launches New "Job Development Team" to Provide Customized Recruitment Support for SMEs and Job Seekers

Guro District (District Mayor Jang Inhong) will launch the "Guro District Job Development Team" from June to December to provide customized employment support for residents.

The "Guro District Job Development Team" is a new initiative introduced this year by Guro District. It is designed to support the reemployment of experienced job seekers and assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) facing labor shortages with their recruitment needs.

Unlike previous job seeker-centered customized job matching programs, this initiative takes into account not only the employment needs of job seekers but also the recruitment needs of companies, aiming to create mutually satisfactory matches between employers and job seekers.

This month, the district will recruit four experienced professionals in fields such as human resources, management, and marketing to form the Job Development Team. Starting in June, these team members will visit SMEs with five or more employees identified by the district office to assess each company's recruitment needs and connect them with suitable job seekers for the relevant positions.

By December this year, the Job Development Team aims to visit 600 SMEs with five or more employees in the region and facilitate the recruitment of 50 job seekers.

In addition, the district plans to implement a variety of support programs for both companies and job seekers through this initiative, including job policy promotion, guidance on SME support programs, and the organization of performance review sessions.

Jang Inhong, Mayor of Guro District, stated, "Through mutual cooperation between companies and the local community, we will identify and provide stable jobs for residents, thereby supporting the economic independence of local residents. Furthermore, we will strive to promote local economic revitalization and achieve sustainable development."

Guro District plans to hold a win-win job partnership agreement ceremony with business organizations on June 12, and will provide customized employment support to ensure satisfaction for both job seekers and companies through the Job Development Team at the Jungjangnyeonil Dream Center.
