Daejeon City announced on the 16th that it held a kick-off briefing for the event management service of the '2025 Daejeon 0 O'clock Festival' in the city hall's main conference room, officially beginning preparations.
Marking its third year, the 'Daejeon 0 O'clock Festival' maintains the theme of 'A Time Travel through Daejeon's Past, Present, and Future,' while addressing shortcomings from last year and significantly enhancing its content.
Main features include: ▲ A large-scale street parade with a different theme each of the nine days; ▲ Diverse cultural and artistic exhibitions and performances featuring local artists; ▲ Live performances by popular K-POP artists; ▲ Daejeon Future Science Experience Center, where visitors can directly enjoy and experience Daejeon, the science capital; ▲ Immersive 4D attraction experience center; ▲ Family theme park for all ages; ▲ A photo zone twice as large as before, and more.
The city plans to incorporate feedback from the briefing into its implementation plan, further enhancing the festival's completeness through more systematic and professional execution.
The '2025 Daejeon 0 O'clock Festival' is scheduled to take place for nine days from August 8 to 16, along a 1km stretch of Jungang-ro from Daejeon Station to the former Chungnam Provincial Government building and throughout the original downtown commercial district. During the festival, vehicle access will be restricted in this area.
Daejeon Mayor Lee Jangwoo emphasized, "The Daejeon 0 O'clock Festival has proven its potential to grow into a world-class festival in a short period of time," adding, "This year, we will strictly uphold the 'three no principles'?no accidents, no litter, no price gouging?and elevate the festival into a truly global event that attracts both domestic and international tourists."
