The Gwangju Nam-gu Community Social Security Council and the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 8th that they will conduct the 'Gwangju Nam-gu Social Welfare Workers Capacity Building Training' as part of this year's planned projects.
This capacity building training will be held a total of four times starting from the 17th. Under the subtitle 'Nam-gu Leading Welfare: Social Welfare Start-up,' the program consists of four sessions, six subjects, and 19 hours in total. It will offer professional training in the social welfare field and a variety of curricula tailored to local characteristics, including project planning and resource development, ChatGPT utilization and promotional strategies, social welfare supervision, and program evaluation training. The aim is to strengthen the capabilities of social welfare workers in Nam-gu and provide them with educational opportunities.
Lee Sunmi, the private chairperson of the Gwangju Nam-gu Community Social Security Council, stated, "I hope this will serve as an opportunity to provide diverse and professional educational opportunities to social welfare workers in Nam-gu, and to solidify the foundation of welfare in Nam-gu by strengthening the capabilities of workers through learning."
