Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 6th that it will open the first official store of the French fashion brand 'AIGLE' at Lotte Department Store Jamsil Branch.

AIGLE is a pioneer brand in fashion outdoor wear with a 172-year tradition. It is famous for natural rubber boots handcrafted by French artisans and stylish clothing. Lotte Homeshopping secured the exclusive domestic distribution rights for AIGLE last September and has been expanding sales channels by operating pop-up stores and select shops in hot places. Following the Lotte Department Store Jamsil Branch, additional stores will be opened at major locations within the year.

The first official store will sell about 100 types of clothing and accessories, including the representative items such as rubber boots and functional outerwear. To celebrate the opening, customers can enjoy up to a 10% discount until the 31st, and those who purchase over 700,000 KRW will receive an AIGLE tote bag as a gift.

Lee Sang-yong, Head of Brand Development Lab at Lotte Homeshopping, said, "We have secured exclusive distribution rights for up to five years and are opening the first official store of the French fashion brand AIGLE at Lotte Department Store Jamsil Branch. We plan to expand AIGLE's customer base by opening additional stores at major locations within the year."

Meanwhile, as part of new business for future growth, Lotte Homeshopping established a dedicated organization in 2023 and is developing an import business that acquires distribution rights for overseas fashion brands and distributes them domestically. Instead of selling through traditional home shopping, the company discovers global brands with no domestic launch history, contracts business rights, and distributes them through domestic fashion specialty malls, select shops, and other shopping platforms. Notably, in 2023, it directly imported the Italian eco-friendly fashion brand 'Woofwear' and secured exclusive domestic distribution rights for the French watch brand 'Laps', rainwear brand 'Float', vegan fashion brand 'Apari', handmade shoe brand 'Bosabo', and fabric brand 'Muamong'.
