A fatal stabbing incident occurred at a restaurant in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the police and the Gyeonggi Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters, at around 8:22 PM on the 21st, police responded to a report of two women collapsed in a private room of a restaurant located in Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, and are currently pursuing a suspect on charges of murder.
At the scene, the police found one woman in her 60s deceased inside the restaurant and another woman in her 50s seriously injured.
The seriously injured woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is reported to be in critical condition. Their specific identities have not yet been confirmed.
A police official stated, "We are currently reviewing CCTV footage to determine the exact circumstances of the incident," adding, "We are tracking the suspect through analysis of the CCTV videos."
