Genian Technologies to Participate in Saudi 'LEAP 2025'... "Accelerating Entry into Middle East Cybersecurity Market"

‘LEAP 2025’ is the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East, hosted by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). This year’s event was held under the theme “THE FUTURE OF TECH.” Over 1,800 ICT and tech companies, including Google and IBM, participated.

Genieons participated in the Korean Pavilion, operated by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA), where it operated its booth alongside nine other domestic companies. At this exhibition, Genieons showcased three security solutions: ▲ Genieon ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) ▲ Genieon NAC (Network Access Control) ▲ Genieon EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response). Through success stories and demonstrations of each product, the company aimed to effectively communicate the strengths of its solutions.

As of the end of 2024, Genieons has secured 143 global customers, with 40% of them located in the Middle East. The Middle Eastern market shares similar cultural backgrounds and IT system management methods with Korea, and there is a high preference for Korean security solutions. The entry of Korean companies, including Genieons, into this market is increasing.

Last year, Genieons won a national project to develop a “Managed Cybersecurity System Optimized for the Middle Eastern Market.” By collaborating with local demand companies, Genieons is continuously expanding its portfolio in the Middle Eastern market by combining flexible solutions such as NAC, ZTNA, EDR, as well as SIEM and SOAR.

Naseil, Head of Genieons’ Overseas Business Division, said, “Since opening our UAE office, we have been expanding our contact points with customers in the Middle East by participating in IT security exhibitions and other events,” adding, “We will strive to further strengthen our position in the Middle Eastern market by developing and supplying customized security solutions based on Genieons products.”

Meanwhile, at ‘LEAP 2025,’ Genieons signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Naver Cloud. Through this agreement, the company plans to pursue ▲ information exchange regarding the overall business environment ecosystem, including Saudi digital industry technology and regulations ▲ information exchange and mutual cooperation to expand business networks ▲ cooperation to comply with Saudi market regulatory systems, aiming to target the Saudi Arabian market.
