"I Am Certain That Yoo Si-min from 10 Years Ago Would Curse at the Current Yoo Si-min"
Writer Yoo Si-min criticized the non-Lee Jae-myung faction candidates for heading down a "path to ruin," while Kim Jae-seop, a member of the People Power Party, harshly responded, saying, "It seems Yoo Si-min's brain has rotted due to political ambition."
On the 7th, Kim posted on Facebook, "Yoo Si-min is trying to annihilate everyone challenging the sole leadership of Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea," adding, "He is disciplining lawmakers by saying criticism of Lee is a 'path to ruin.'"

Kim pointed out that 10 years ago, Yoo opposed the Park Geun-hye administration's policy of promoting the Korean history state textbook, saying, "He cited North Korea as an example, stating that a society where diversity is eradicated is doomed. He said a society like a 'sterile room' where diversity of thought is not guaranteed is unhealthy."
Kim argued that the Workers' Party of Korea in the 1950s and today's Democratic Party are quite similar. He criticized, "Isn't the Democratic Party that Yoo Si-min wants now the same North Korean image he used to criticize as an example of a failed society? Isn't Yoo himself the one who called himself a 'liberal' and despised totalitarianism?"

He continued, "If today's Democratic Party is like the Workers' Party of Korea, then naturally the country they govern would become like North Korea," and asked, "What has happened to Yoo Si-min's brain in the past 10 years?" Kim added, "It seems Yoo Si-min's brain has rotted due to political ambition," and "I am confident that Yoo Si-min from 10 years ago would roar and curse at the current Yoo Si-min."
Meanwhile, on the 5th, Yoo criticized the non-Lee Jae-myung faction candidates who oppose the Democratic Party's Lee Jae-myung one-leader system on the YouTube broadcast 'Maebul Show,' saying they are "heading down a path to ruin."
Yoo said it was not that the non-Lee faction was ethically wrong or logically incorrect, but that "the situation is special." He added, "This is an emergency situation where the rebellion of the December 3rd insurrection forces must be thoroughly and completely suppressed," and said, "In a situation where the structure of the game is even more intensified than the last general election, if you act like a medal-wearing officer and say things like 'Lee Jae-myung, you lost the presidential election because you were incompetent' or 'Do you think you can do well on your own?' you are heading down a path to ruin."
