About 20% Less Sugar Than the Market Average
Cumulative Sales of 100 Billion KRW Since 2015 Launch
Dongwon F&B announced on the 5th that it has renewed Denmark processed milk by reducing the sugar content by about 20% compared to the average sugar content of processed milk on the market (as announced by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety).
The four types of Denmark processed milk are products that add sweet flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, banana, and coffee to milk. They were first launched in 2015 and have recorded cumulative sales of about 100 billion KRW to date.
The core of this renewal is 'sugar reduction.' The sugar content of Denmark reduced-sugar processed milk is about 20% lower than the average sugar content of processed milk on the market, with only 7.28g of sugar per 100ml. In the case of Denmark Coffee Coffee, the sugar content is about 50% lower than the average of coffee (dairy-containing) products on the market, with 4.1g of sugar per 100ml. Additionally, the original smooth and sweet taste has been maintained.
Following the launch of the low-sugar liquid fermented milk 'Denmark High Yogurt' last year, Dongwon F&B plans to expand its range of reduced-sugar products through this renewal of Denmark reduced-sugar processed milk.
The price of the four types of Denmark reduced-sugar processed milk is 2,000 KRW for 300ml. The products can be purchased at major distribution channels such as convenience stores, marts, and online malls nationwide.
