Farmkit took the stage first at the 'LeapStart' demo day held on the 20th at TIPS Hall S1 in Tipstown, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, hosted by startup accelerator Next Elevation and CNT Tech.
CEO Yang explained, "We provide AI-based Software as a Service (SaaS) recommendation solutions to food commerce operators," adding, "We suggest which products should be exposed in food shopping malls and how to increase purchase conversion rates."
Farmkit's solution analyzes consumers' food preferences through purchase history, shopping behaviors such as clicks, and reviews. It then adds detailed analysis of product data to offer hyper-personalized recommendations based on time, situation, and location. CEO Yang said, "We increase purchase conversion rates with differentiated technology through taste and preference analysis."
Farmkit has already secured more than 50 client companies. The target markets are self-operated malls and specialty malls. CEO Yang introduced, "We independently developed technology capable of analyzing individual food preferences," and "We also independently developed a system for hyper-personalized recommendations. Based on accumulating data, high-performance recommendations are possible."
Farmkit's solution is expanding its business scope. CEO Yang said, "AI can provide a one-month healthy meal plan with just one click," and added, "We are also pursuing development for entry into the North American market and expansion of digital healthcare."
