Regarding the charge of obstructing the execution of the arrest warrant, Kim stated, "I do not admit it," and added, "The head of the agency issued a disapproval order, and since the instruction was given, the primary compliance with the instruction is an absolute work manual and obligation."
When asked whether the order to block the execution of the arrest warrant was from the President, Kim replied, "I don't think so," and said, "The President, the head of the Security Service, the deputy head, and the Security Headquarters consistently gave instructions focused on preventing human casualties."
