The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eun-hee) announced on the 14th that it will hire 11 educational public service workers to promptly fill vacancies due to retirements and to especially ensure smooth support in special education settings.
The number of planned hires by job category is 9 special education assistants, 1 special Neulbom specialist, and 1 school transportation safety staff.
Anyone aged 18 or older can apply, and the final successful candidates will work at public schools or institutions under the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education starting March 1.
To enhance fairness and transparency in this recruitment, the evaluation criteria for each selection stage will be disclosed, and to facilitate applicants’ convenience, both online applications via the teacher recruitment website and on-site applications will be accepted.
Applicants can submit their applications online through the ‘Online Teacher Recruitment’ system or visit the Office of Administrative Management (East Building, 6th floor) of the Metropolitan Office of Education for on-site submission.
The recruitment schedule is as follows: online application from the 14th to the 17th, on-site application on the 20th and 21st, announcement of document screening results on the 31st, interviews from February 3rd to 6th, and the final successful candidates will be announced on February 13th via the Metropolitan Office of Education’s website.
