Chosun University (President Kim Chunseong) Museum has been selected as a participating institution in the '2025 Folklife Museum Network Project' education operation support division, organized by the National Folk Museum of Korea.
According to Chosun University on the 9th, the 'Folklife Museum Network Project,' which has been promoted since 2005, is a project in which the National Folk Museum of Korea supports joint exhibitions, educational development and operation, and more, to strengthen the capabilities of regional museums and lay the foundation for cultural development.
The National Folk Museum of Korea selected five institutions nationwide this year by evaluating the originality of project proposals, differentiation from other institutions, and the logical structure of educational content. Among university museums, Chosun University Museum is the only one selected.
Chosun University Museum plans to run a program called 'Making a Bronze Age Terrarium with Dolmen,' where participants reconstruct a Bronze Age village as a terrarium. This program will be held six times in July for children and elementary school students (20 participants per session), and details on the schedule and application process will be posted later on the museum's website and Instagram.
Curator Kim Jihee stated, "Through this program, we aim to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities by enabling effective learning and hands-on experiences with various artifacts in the museum as a local university museum."
