Gyeonggi Province is recruiting operating institutions for the ‘360-Degree Anywhere Care Disability Care Night and Holiday Program’ from the 13th to the 24th of this month. ‘360-Degree Anywhere Care’ is a representative welfare policy of Gyeonggi Province.
Gyeonggi Province will select around 58 institutions as operating organizations for this project. The selected institutions will be categorized into three types: ▲Care Type (Type A) ▲Activity Type (Type B) ▲Self-Help Group Type (Type C), and each selected institution will receive up to 100 million KRW in support. Gyeonggi Province has allocated a total project budget of 3.1 billion KRW.
Type A primarily provides care services within the institution and also supports temporary care for disabled residents living in 31 cities and counties. If a caregiver has reasons such as hospital visits, they can entrust temporary care on an hourly basis.

Type B is divided into ‘weekday type’ and ‘weekend type’ and supports various activities such as performances, exhibitions, and sports activities. It also operates activities for caregivers who may easily become exhausted from caregiving. The newly introduced ‘weekend type’ this year supports community experience activities such as visits to amusement parks and museums at least once a month.
Type C provides emotional support groups composed of disabled persons and their families.
Residents can use the services from March 4th after the operating institutions are selected.
Kim Hana, Director of Welfare at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Last year, 42 operating institutions participated in the 360-Degree Anywhere Care ‘Disability Care Night and Holiday Program,’ and over 38,000 people used the service. This year, we will select more institutions to fill care gaps during nights and holidays and help enable social participation."
