This evaluation was conducted by comprehensively assessing 9 indicators across 5 categories, including efforts to secure budgets for fruit production, appropriateness of budget execution, and efforts to promote the fruit industry, targeting 22 cities and counties in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
In this evaluation, Cheongsong-gun achieved the grand prize by receiving high scores in discovering new projects within the city and county, such as the selection for national and provincial subsidy projects for the fruit-specialized production complex (Hwaseok 1-ri and 2-ri districts, Hyeonseo-myeon), the seedling cost support project for creating future-oriented apple orchards in Cheongsong, and the cold damage mitigation agent support project.
County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “Winning the grand prize for two consecutive years in the Gyeongsangbuk-do Fruit Industry Promotion Policy Evaluation is the result of Cheongsong-gun’s differentiated fruit policies and continuous interest and efforts in the agricultural sector,” adding, “We will continue to actively promote future-oriented and field-customized agricultural policies for the development of fruit agriculture in Cheongsong-gun.”
