The four cleaning service companies, Hanil Environment (CEO Song Yong-ho), Hanil Clean (CEO Kim Yong-seong), Geumcheon Environment (CEO Kim Jae-sik), and Samjeong Environment Service (CEO Oh Jae-kwang), came together for the first time this year to start the "Geumcheon Clean Scholarship Project."
Through the scholarship project, each company raised 6 million KRW, collecting a total of 24 million KRW, with 20 million KRW allocated for scholarships and 4 million KRW for warm winter funds.
The district plans to provide scholarships of 1 million KRW each to 20 prospective university students recommended by the local community centers. Four students among the scholarship recipients attended the donation ceremony and received their scholarship certificates as representatives.
The representatives of the cleaning service companies who attended the donation ceremony said, "We started the Geumcheon Clean Scholarship Project as a way to give back to the residents who use our services," and added, "The four companies will continue to unite their efforts to nurture future local talents and support welfare blind spots for the residents."
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, "The Geumcheon Clean Scholarship Project, which is starting for the first time this year, will be a great support for students in Geumcheon-gu who need assistance," and expressed hope that "various scholarship projects for promising students will continue to be promoted."
