Suwon City and the Suwon City Council agreed to actively cooperate to expand the incentive discount rate for the local currency, Suwon Pay.
Mayor Lee Jae-jun stated, "Due to recent political and social instability, the local economy as a whole is facing a crisis," and added, "To overcome this crisis and revitalize the livelihood economy, we will continue to communicate and cooperate with the council."
