Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 9th that it has created a smart rest area equipped with the latest convenience facilities at Yongdu Neighborhood Park in front of the district office.
The ‘Yongdu Park Smart Rest Area,’ approximately 70㎡ in size and featuring a second-floor outdoor space, gives an overall impression similar to a well-designed caf?.
The first floor of the rest area is equipped with ▲massage chairs ▲automatic blood pressure monitors ▲fine dust measuring devices ▲automated external defibrillators ▲heating and cooling systems, as well as tables and sofas that can accommodate several people together.
The second floor is an outdoor space furnished with bar tables for 4 to 5 people, regular tables, and parasols, allowing visitors to enjoy leisure time surrounded by nature.
The first floor of the rest area is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., while the second-floor outdoor space is open 24 hours a day. It is free for all residents visiting the park to use.
