2.5% Wage Increase and Meal Allowance Raise Agreed

Daejeon Transportation Corporation announced on the 6th that it had signed the 2024 wage agreement with the labor union, marking 20 consecutive years without labor disputes since the corporation's establishment.
After four rounds of negotiations, labor and management at Daejeon Transportation Corporation agreed to raise wages by 2.5% and increase meal subsidies to improve employee welfare.
Choi Hyangho, the union leader, said, "Although there are some regrets with this agreement, labor and management have reached a grand compromise for mutual growth and development. I ask everyone to continue working together to protect workers' rights and improve working conditions."
Yeon Gyuyang, the president, stated, "I would like to thank the labor union for its efforts to overcome difficult internal and external management environments through sufficient communication and consensus between labor and management. We will continue to maintain labor-management peace without disputes through communication and cooperation, and strive to become a citizen-centered transportation service that brings happiness to our citizens."
