Recruitment of Youth Members for Goyang City Youth Policy Coordination Committee

Anyone aged 18 to 39 can apply until December 4

Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 19th that it will conduct an open recruitment for youth members of the Goyang City Youth Policy Coordination Committee until December 4.

The Goyang City Youth Policy Coordination Committee is a youth participatory organization composed of youth, experts, and related public officials that deliberates and coordinates matters such as the establishment and modification of the basic youth policy plan and implementation plan, annual performance inspection and evaluation of the implementation plan, and institutional improvements of youth policy, in accordance with the 'Goyang City Youth Basic Ordinance.'

Applicants must be youth aged 18 to 39 residing in Goyang City and interested in youth policy; anyone meeting these criteria can apply.

The city plans to form a selection committee to review and select candidates after receiving applications through the open recruitment, and the appointed youth members will serve a two-year term.

Youth who wish to apply should refer to the Goyang City Hall website > Information Disclosure > Committee Room > Open Recruitment Application and submit the application form (including a self-introduction) to the email address provided in the announcement.

Wang Yeon-woo, Director of the Job Policy Division, said, "To enhance the effectiveness and impact of youth policy, the active participation and role of the youth themselves are important," and added, "We ask for the interest and active participation of many young people in Goyang City."
