50% Support for Production Facilities and Equipment of Ginseng, Mushrooms, etc.
Paju City is accepting applications for the '2025 Specialty Crop (Ginseng, Mushrooms, etc.) Production Facility Modernization Project' until November 4. On the 28th, Paju City in Gyeonggi announced that it will accept applications for the '2025 Specialty Crop (Ginseng, Mushrooms, etc.) Production Facility Modernization Project' until November 4.
The 'Specialty Crop Production Facility Modernization Project' was established to strengthen the competitiveness of farms and increase farm income by building a stable production base for specialty crops.
Farms selected as project beneficiaries will receive support covering 50% of the costs for installing facilities and purchasing equipment related to the cultivation of specialty crops (ginseng, mushrooms, medicinal crops, etc.).
Applications are only accepted from local farmers or agricultural corporations registered with agricultural management information, and the final project beneficiaries will be selected in mid-February 2025 after on-site investigations, feasibility reviews of project plans, and deliberations by the Agricultural Policy Subcommittee.
Lee Tae-seong, Director of the Agricultural Policy Division, stated, “We will strive to provide practical support for the actual needs of specialty crop farmers through continuous communication.”
Detailed project information and implementation plans can be found on the Paju City Hall website. Farmers wishing to apply should prepare the application form and required documents and visit the Industrial Team at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center of their farmland location or the Agricultural Policy Division at the Agricultural Technology Center to submit their applications.
