Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 19th that it is recruiting service providers for the ‘National Mind Investment Support Project’.
Applications can be submitted by institutions with a counseling space of 33㎡ or larger, one institution head meeting the qualification criteria, and at least one staff member. The amount of government support funding is determined according to the qualification criteria of the service personnel.

The ‘National Mind Investment Support Project’ is a program that provides professional psychological counseling services to citizens experiencing emotional difficulties such as depression and anxiety.
It will be newly implemented starting next month in accordance with the government’s ‘Mental Health Policy Innovation Plan’.
The eligible recipients include ▲ those who have received a psychological counseling referral or a mental medical institution’s opinion letter ▲ those confirmed to have depression with a score of 10 or higher in the national health screening results ▲ youth preparing for independence ▲ and children in extended protection, among others.
Recipients can receive face-to-face psychological counseling sessions lasting at least 50 minutes each, for a total of 8 sessions, and must apply by visiting the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center with the required documents.
After selecting a psychological counseling service provider, applicants pay a co-payment based on their income level.
A Jangseong-gun Public Health Center official said, “We hope many institutions that meet the qualification requirements will participate so that this essential service can be provided to residents who need professional psychological counseling.”
