Agency: "Please Pray for the Deceased's Soul"
On the 11th, the autopsy results for singer Park Boram, who passed away, confirmed that there were no signs of homicide or extreme self-harm.
On the 15th, Park Boram's agency, Zenad Entertainment, stated, "An autopsy was conducted this morning to clearly determine the cause of death of our late artist Park Boram. It was confirmed that there were no signs of homicide or suicide, and the detailed autopsy results will be delivered to the bereaved family later."
Park Boram was found collapsed after going to the bathroom during a gathering with acquaintances at a friend's house on the 11th. The friend reported to the police, and she was transported to the hospital, but was pronounced dead around 11 p.m. the same day.
The agency asked, "Please join us in praying for the late Park Boram, who never gave up her passion for music and pursued her dreams, so that she may rest peacefully in a warm place."
She gained attention for her outstanding vocal skills when she appeared on the Mnet audition program 'Superstar K2' in 2010. She officially debuted in 2014 with the song 'Yeppeojyeotda' and enjoyed great popularity, ranking 19th on Melon's annual chart that year. In February of this year, she released the duet 'Joketda' with 'Superstar K2' winner Heo Gak, and on the 3rd, she released a new song titled 'Bogosipda Beolsseo.'
Meanwhile, the late artist's funeral will be held at Room 21 of the Seoul Asan Hospital funeral hall from 3 p.m. today. The funeral procession will take place at 6 a.m. on the 17th.
