Namyang Dairy Products Announces Introduction of 'Fair Trade Compliance Program'

Establishing a Culture of Self-Compliance as a Foundation for Sustainable Growth

Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 6th that it has declared the introduction of the 'Fair Trade Compliance Program (Compliance Program, CP).' The Fair Trade Compliance Program is an internal compliance system and code of conduct established and operated by companies themselves to comply with laws related to fair trade.

At the declaration ceremony held on the 5th at Namyang Dairy Products headquarters, attended by Shin Hyun-yoon, Chairman of the Korea Fair Competition Federation, and more than 80 executives and employees, all Namyang Dairy Products staff reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a transparent and honest fair trade culture through the introduction of the CP.


Kim Seung-eon, CEO of Namyang Dairy Products, said, “The introduction of this CP will be a valuable momentum for becoming a more trusted company by declaring a company-wide commitment to compliance and ethical management,” adding, “We will not let this be a one-time declarative shout but will all take the lead and spare no effort to leap forward as the world’s best food company.”


A Namyang Dairy Products official stated, “Before introducing the system, we completed thorough preparations by establishing internal systems and dedicated organizations as well as publishing a compliance manual,” and added, “We will continue to secure sustainable growth engines and further strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.”
